Influencer Strategy

Meaningful change cannot be possible without influence. We often underestimate our ability to influence others, affecting their behaviors, attitudes, and decisions without even realizing it. We can utilize this influence to bring about meaningful transformations in our environment. Below is my approach to guiding my organization, focusing on motivation and ability across various levels of influence.
What's the goal?
I desire to guide my school in creating an authentic student centered learning environment by adopting a rotation model of blended learning using technology to give students differentiated instruction tailored to them. By combining online learning with traditional face-to-face instruction, we can prepare students for a variety of learning environments and develop the skills necessary for the new tech era.
-
Teachers will use a rubric to assess student progress in writing, similar to the rubric used to grade state assessments.
-
Analyze student growth on online program (monitor completion of units)
-
Administrators will conduct informal observations of blended learning rotations to evaluate progress in student centered learning and engagement.
How will I measure this?
Vital Behaviors
-
It can be intimidating to implement technology in the classroom both for new and experienced teachers. I believe that through collaboration, we can achieve optimal results and succeed together. For this reason, instructional coaches and teachers can meet biweekly to collaborate on content for program and exchange ideas, best practices, and any refinements. Collaboration and honest feedback will be key to the successful implementation of blended learning throughout the organization.
-
Administrators, teachers and instructional coaches will meet once a month to receive feedback, brainstorm ideas and demonstrate if necessary (any best practices or technology needs). By continuously receiving and applying feedback, we can cultivate a supportive environment focused on enhancing the implementation of blended learning. Additionally, through ongoing training and collaborative practice, we will establish a strong foundation for teaching students. This process will internalize our skills, enabling smoother teaching by anticipating and addressing potential complications.
Organization Influencers
Administration
The leaders in the building significantly influence the creation of a supportive environment. All others in the building seek their guidance for help and honest feedback to aid in their growth as educators.
Instructional Coaches
Instructional coaches facilitate teachers' growth through their extensive experience and knowledge. By involving instructional coaches in planning content and providing feedback, we foster a collaborative effort that blends innovation with technology and seasoned expertise.
Team Leads
Team leads can assist other teachers by providing guidance, mentorship, and support. They can offer a unique perspective for this innovation plan due to their extensive experience. Team leads will help contribute to the implementation and continued development of this innovation plan.
Teachers
The teachers will be crucial in implementing this plan in the classroom, playing a pivotal role in its success. As primary contacts with students in this innovative approach, they hold significant influence over students' success in blended learning.
